With more than 20 years of computing experience with roles ranging from Developer, to Network Engineer to IT Manager I have acquired a vast amount of knowledge and expertise.
I have held such varied roles as Real Time Systems Developer (in languages as diverse as Microsoft C and FORTH), Office Systems Development (using Visual Basic and the entire range of applications in the Microsoft Office Suite), Network Designer and Engineer, and European IT Manager.
The expertise I have gained in that time has allowed me to design, implement and support from a range of applications to entire network systems with extremely high levels of reliability. It was with this knowledge and understanding that I achieved the industry qualifications of Microsoft Certified System Engineer (in both NT4 and Windows 2000), and also the two Cisco qualifications of Cisco Certified Design Associate and Cisco Certified Network Associate.
Following is a more in-depth look at some of the systems for which I have been responsible for designing, implementing and supporting during my career as a software developer, systems analyst and IT Manager.
